A Deluxe December in Beauty

I have been on a beauty post kick lately… but the holidays seem to bring it out in me!

First off… I am so proud of myself for completing this post before January! My last beauty favorites post was back in May (eek) and even then, I swear the post came two weeks past May. I do, however, plan to make it a monthly goal for 2016 to post these regularly… Wish me luck!

In my last beauty post “Very Merry & Bright“, I have listed a few of these products for my go-to look for the holidays. To me, the holidays bring an unspeakable joy, inner peace and radiance, and these products tie in with these beautifully! Be sure to click the link to see the full product list!

As for my December Beauty Favorites, I have a few that were not displayed in my previous post that I would like to talk about. Let’s begin!

{December Beauty Favorites}

1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6

1 | Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb: My greatest obsession when it comes to fragrance. For the last three (3) years, this has been my go-to scent throughout the year, especially during the holidays! This fragrance is sweet with an exotic undertone, and captivating to the senses. I have both the full and travel sizes, as I truly can not get enough of it!

2 |  Benefit Stay Flawless Makeup Primer: This is a completely new product to me as of this month. I have always struggled with finding a good makeup primer and have heard wonderful things about this one. It is lightweight, soft to the touch, and colorless. You can apply it directly to the skin from the twist-up tube or you can apply the product to the fingers for application on the face. Whichever works better for you but make sure your fingers are clean before touching your face and I would recommend sanitizing the product in the tube with alcohol each time. This will limit extra amounts of dirt and oil to reach the skin.

3 | GlamGlow Mud Mask: This is also a new product for me this month and as with most skincare, it takes some time to see effective results. One thing I have noticed is a change in skin texture around my chin. I typically have small bumps that are quite frustrating and this seemed to help clear them up a bit over the last few weeks. I’m sure the more I use the product, the more change I will see, but for now, I love it!

4 | NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien: This product is part of my December Beauty Favorites mainly because of the color! I like to pair this with Boldly Bare from MAC. It is the perfect lip combination for fall/winter.

5 | Hourglass Ambient Light Palette: Words cannot express the love I have for this palette. As a blogger who focuses heavily on photography, it is difficult to get correct lighting on the face when doing portrait photos. Reflecting back on my post “Very Merry & Bright“, it was amazing how the product was able to capture the light under my eyes on a cloudy (&& I mean cloudy) day. My skin was glistening! I plan to do more experimenting with this palette and photos so stay tuned for that!

6 | Last but not least… the holy grail of mascaras! Actually, there are a lot of mascaras that I adore, but this is the latest and greatest! This mascara is a bit too wet new, but once it dries a bit, it is fantastic! I have thinner lashes that require lengthening and body, and this mascara does the trick!

That was it for my quick December Beauty Favorites! What were your beauty favorites for this month? Post yours in the comments below as I am ALWAYS looking for new products and recommendations!

Much Love,
