Mimosas in San Diego Feat. The Solana Beach from San Diego Water Grill

San Diego is one of the most iconic cities when it comes to restaurants and night/social life. As a local and blogger, I take advantage of my opportunities to try the hottest places for food and drinks. Now, I am sharing those experiences with you!

If you couldn’t tell, mimosas are kind of my thing. I love finding different variations and added flavors to the classic recipe. I recently discovered one that took my tastebuds by surprise and it is now the introduction to my “Mimosas in the City” series on the blog.

Meet the “Solana Beach” from Downtown’s San Diego Water Grill.

Going beyond the typical mixture of Orange Juice and Champagne, the San Diego Water Grill adds delectable flavors of St. Germain along with Orange Bitters to bring out the sweeter, more enhanced flavors of the drink. The “Solana Beach” is light and refreshing to the taste. I believe it’s the perfect mimosa for not only breakfast or brunch, but a good transition drink to evening cocktails.

Not only does the San Diego Water Grill have delightful drinks including a list of craft cocktails, their innovative interior design, decor and food is crafted to leave you with a lasting and iconic impression of their restaurant and of course, San Diego. Their cuisine is enhanced with the freshest seafood selections on both their lunch and dinner menus. A few of my personal favorites from their menu are the oysters and the shrimp cocktail. The dish displayed is the homemade ravioli, which is always a nice little snack!

That’s great! We actually had mimosas this weekend – they had fresh orange juice and were wondefully yummy.
