Lazy Day Essentials

I love lazy days. Lazy days are perfect for decompressing after long weeks, busy seasons, and most importantly pampering yourself to recharge. When the cooler seasons approach, I find myself taking personal days more frequently, especially during the weekends while I have the time to unwind.

Mornings –
First off, coffee is a must! There is nothing sweeter than waking up to a delicious cappuccino in a cute mug and having my place smell of coffee the rest of the day. I am obsessed with my Nespresso machine! After making coffee, I like to crawl back into bed and either work on the blog or work on writing in a notebook I have laying around. Even though lazy days are mean’t for not working, I like to still have my mind active for working towards my goals. As there is no pressure no accomplish anything on lazy days, I’ve discovered the inspiration comes much easier!

What I Wear –
I love to be comfortable when I am relaxing. I usually reach for a nice pair of slouchy pants and a pull over sweater, and while doing things around my studio, I’ll throw on a cute robe to the mix. Robes are always a nice and luxurious touch. I even wear slippers around the studio and when I take my pup out for his business. Who needs shoes!?

Pampering –
I typically pamper myself more on lazy days as I am not in a rush and allow myself more time to do so. I love to run a nice bath with either bath bombs, soaks or salt as well as using a great skin exfoliant to scrub away the weekday stresses. I also take the time to give myself mini-facials with face masks, serums, etc. If I find the motivation, I’ll find a near by nail salon to get my nails done.

Evenings –
To top off the perfect lazy days, I enjoy lighting candles, grabbing a silk or fur blanket and laying down to watch a movie or catch up on tv shoes. If I didn’t have the Amazon FireStick, I don’t know what I would do! Oh, and you can’t forget the bubbly!

Lazy days are the best! Unfortunately I don’t get many of those, but when I do, I have similar essential items. Love it!
