Mimosas in San Diego: Mimosas & Brunch at Breakfast Republic

San Diego continues to amaze me with its amazing brunch spots with delicious mimosas, and Breakfast Republic as been on my mind for months. Breakfast Republic has locations in North Park, Liberty Station and now Encinitas, all in which focus solely on innovative breakfast foods. To top it off, Breakfast Republic has a variety of mimosa options, along with monthly special mimosas, and I am ecstatic!

For the mimosas, I decided to try the Blackberry Mint Mimosas which is their November special, the Grapefruit Mimosa and the Prosecco Fresh Squeezed OJ Mimosa. Our waiter mentioned that he has been receiving mixed reviews of the Blackberry Mint but I absolutely loved it! With a fresh blackberry puree and subtle mint flavor as an after taste, this mimosa was delicious. I hope to see it on the menu again. As for the Grapefruit and Prosecco Mimosas, they were both refreshing and really complimented the meal.

As you all should know, I am obsessed with benedicts for breakfast, so I ordered the House Made Crab Cake Benedict with Avocado and Tomato and upgraded the potatoes to the Brussel sprout roasted potatoes with parmesan cheese, bacon and onion.

If you have not been into Breakfast Republic to dine, get your fannies over there asap! If you have, let me know what you think about their fabulous menu and mimosas down below! Cheers!

With Love,

I’ve traveled a lot through California, but I haven’t hit San Diego yet. Added to my list for next summer!
