Noel Noel at the San Diego Symphony

Oh holy night…

If there is one thing I love about the holidays, it is the music! During the entire month of December you will usually find me driving around with Christmas tunes on full blast, while singing at the top of my lungs. You also may or may not see a few hand moves or shoulder shakes in the process, but I can assure you it is all in safe fun.

Taking you back to one of my favorite past-times, I was once in the chorus. From the first grade to my senior year of high school I was in a variety of all girls chorus groups and co-ed chorus groups while even competing with other schools around the state of Missouri. Music and singing has always been a very important part of my life and listening to live chorus programs will always hold a special place in my heart, as I have once been on that stage.

During my years here in San Diego, seeing the San Diego Symphony and the San Diego Master Chorale has been a dream. As it is the season of giving, I was so generously given two tickets to see the Noel Noel program which made my dream come true! It truly is the season of joy and possibilities!

The entire show was breathtaking and captured the true magic of the holidays. There is something about percussion, vocals and the music that such talented people can create from a simple fire within them. Overall, the experience left me speechless.

To end a wonderful evening, my dear friend Shanti from Breathing with Peace and I took a quick selfie with Santa.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!

With Love,
