What’s In My Beauty Bag – Aloha!

I cannot contain my excitement!

In just a few days, I will be laying on the beaches of Oahu soaking in all the beauty it possess. I have never been to Hawaii and honestly, it has been a long time (if ever) that I have had a REAL vacation. This trip came as a surprise as I just bought my plane ticket yesterday, but I have reached a point in my life where I need to be spontaneous!

As I will be gone for exactly a week, I thought I would go ahead and start planning what to bring! When it comes to traveling, the first thing that comes to mind is of course my beauty products. These are my go-to products and tools in my everyday life – & I can’t live without them while I am gone!

Take a peek at what’s in my beauty bag!

Hair Styling Tools >>>

If you can’t tell, I am a T3 gal. What is special to me about T3 products is the difference it has made to my hair versus other styling tools. As T3 styling tools all use Tourmaline crystals, they release negative ions that reduces frizz while maintaining body and shine, which is heaven to my hair!

Now, bringing my whole collection on vacation with me might seem a bit excessive, but I can’t live without them! The curling set and straighter are a given, but as for the hair dryer, I can’t stand using the ones that are provided by the hotel. Therefore, mine is coming with me!

Last but not least is my handy-dandy wet brush which will relieve my hair from the nots and tangles of the ocean. I have both the full sized brush as well as the travel mini, and they are both divine!

Similar concept as the hair dryer, my hair does not take well to the sample shampoo and conditions that are in the hotel rooms. Currently, I have been using the Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Bodybuilding Volume Shampoo and Conditioner, so this little duo is taking a trip to Honolulu! Having full volumized hair in sounds good to me!

I have been saving my LUSH Turkish Delight Shower Smoothie for a special occasion and my what an occasion it is! I have used these shower smoothies before and they feel delicious on the skin. As I plan to be outside majority of the time, my skin is going to need a good amount of R&R. This product eliminates the need to use a moisturizer after the shower, as it replenishes the moisture when cleansing. Might I add that it smells delicious?!

As for my facial cleanser, the Philosophy Gel Cleanser has been a holy-grail product for me. It is a makeup remover and cleanser which is perfect for the lazy-girl mentality. Again, eliminates the need to use two products for one overall purpose. My kind of product.

Last but not least, a pale skin girl like myself needs a high SPF for her tropical paradise. This one has been my go-t0 for the last two years. It provides the protection while making the skin silky smooth. Might I add no white?

Ooohhh!!! I love Hawai’i! I had the great fortune to spend two months there for work a little while ago! Hard life, right?! Thanks for sharing your products. I’ll have to try the product from Lush. It sounds delish!!!

Well, I don’t need all of that stuff but have fun in Hawaii, I went once a long time ago, but it sounds fun.

Hawaii sounds fabulous for your vacation. I carry tons of products with me when I travel. My hair (being blonde) gets very dry and I’m always looking for good products to get it healthy and conditioned. I’ll have to try some of these.

That trip sounds HEAVENLY! I’ve never been to Hawaii either, but I keep hearing amazing things about it, so I might need to add it to the trip itinerary soon. 🙂 I’ll have to check out that hair dryer since my hair can get SO frizzy with heat. Plus, that Lush shower smoothie looks fantastic! I’ve tried lots of other stuff from Lush, but never that. 🙂

As a bald man this makes me giggle and also makes me thankful that I can forever pack light.

I envy your ability to pack light.. I like to think of myself as a simple woman but when it comes to packing, that always seems to go out the door! Odd.. 😛

I went to Hawaii a few years ago and totally over-packed. It was clothes, not styling tools. I’m good with a boar bristle brush and maybe a hot iron.

This trip I definitely over-packed with both clothes and styling/beauty things! I was lucky that the airline let me go with my suitcase being slightly over the weight limit.. Whoops!

Have recently discovered and fallen in love with some of the T3 products – Love it!! They are shipping to The UK now so we are over the moon 🙂

I absolutely LOVE T3 products.. I refuse to use any other type of styling product at the moment which makes me a little bit of a snob but I can’t help it!
